The Little Leapers LLP, trading as Little Leaper ("Little Leaper", "we", "us"), runs the online store at littleleaper.in. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. It is written to follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it.

What we collect
- Details you give us: name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address, and anything you write to us.
- Order details: products bought, order value, payment method used, and delivery status. We do not see or store your full card, UPI or bank details; our payment partners process them.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and similar information, collected through cookies when you browse.
- Waitlist and newsletter: your email address, if you sign up.
Why we use it
- To process, ship and support your orders, including returns and refunds.
- To send order updates by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
- To send launch news and offers, only if you sign up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To prevent fraud, keep the store secure and meet legal, tax and accounting duties.
- To understand how the store is used so we can improve it.
Children's data
Our products are for children, but our store is for parents and guardians. You must be 18 or older to place an order. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you think a child has given us their data, write to us and we will delete it.
Who we share it with
We share only what each partner needs to do its job:
- Shopify, which hosts our store.
- Payment gateways, which process payments.
- Courier and logistics partners, which deliver your order.
- Email and messaging tools we use to send order updates and newsletters.
- Government authorities, when the law requires it.
We never sell your personal data.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences and measure how the store is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; parts of the store may not work without them.
How long we keep it
We keep order and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting laws require, currently up to 8 years. We delete other data once it is no longer needed for the purpose you gave it for.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you;
- correct or update it;
- delete it, where we are not required by law to keep it;
- withdraw your consent to marketing or other processing, as easily as you gave it;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.
To use any of these rights, email hello@littleleaper.in. If you are unhappy with our response, contact our Grievance Officer at the same address, with "Grievance" in the subject line. You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
We use Shopify's secure, encrypted platform and limit access to your data to people who need it. If a data breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version.
